I myself Martin Jancsics at only 4 weeks old had meningitis and was in the hospital for 16 days, with 15 of those in intensive care. The hospital staff, nurses & doctors had all thought that I was about to die at any time as having meningitis at such a young age there was a very low percentage if any at all that I could live through this. My parents couldn't leave my bed side as they didn't know what was going to happen, whether at any time I could be taking my last breath. This is a horible thing for any parent to have to go through. People of all ages are struck with meningitis and can loose limbs, organs or even worse, death can be there.

I want to put money towards Meningitis UKs vaccine target so we can wipe out meningitis and no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one very quickly in this way again.

We are hoping to raise alot of money for the charity by holding the event on 22nd September 2012 at Cooper Park,Elgin.with lots of attractions and demonstrations.

We are also doing a sponsored tyre flip challenge. A 500lb tractor tyre flip challenge over the distance of one mile. This consists of a three man team taking it in turns to flip the tyre in 50 metre increments until the mile is reached which will take anywhere from two and a half to three hours to complete.
