Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

By virtue of the fact that you are taking the time to look at my Just Giving page you already know thatI am taking part in an Arctic Survival Challenge in February 2012, raising money for the registered charity ParalympicsGB.

I will be in the Arctic for 7 days.  In temperatures as low as -26 degrees, I will be learning and using survival techniques. The survival phase is where these techniques will be put to use when the team will build and sleep in an 18 x 8 foot snow hole, unless on firewatch throughout the night! It's a surprise to many that I have committed to do this, but I hope that this will gather me even greater support from you.

ParalympicsGB provide amazing opportunities and support through sport for individuals with disabilities. Every £1000 raised will pay for a full medical team to support the Paralympians, including doctor, nurse, physio and psychologist.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. As soon as you donate the money is sent directly to Paralympics and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate.  Thank you.
