Story
On 29th May I'm running the Edinburgh marathon to raise money for the Macular Society.
John - the man I can oft be found promenading with - was diagnosed with macular dystrophy last year. You can find out more about it here: https://www.macularsociety.org/macular-disease/macular-conditions/
I am positive (because you have to be) that there will be effective treatment and eventually a cure in our lifetime. Our best bet for achieving this is the Macular Society who are funding cutting edge research into macular disease.
I'd appreciate anything you can give, big or small but ideally big. (With John's poor eyesight, if you send something too small he won't be able to see it and that would just be such a shame).
Thanks for reading through, I'd genuinely be over the moon for any pennies you can share.
Wish me luck, lots of love, P x
