Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am going to ride in a Chairty Horserace at Kelso Racecourse on 22nd May 2011. Having retired from race-riding as an amateur rider on 3rd April this year, I really never thought I would put on my race gear again. Although the idea of this made me a little sad, I had had such an amazing time in the saddle, I thought that one day my luck might run out. The poor jockeys that have recently been injured has really driven this home to me, and I am honoured and humbled that I was lucky enough to retire in one piece. With this is mind I am more keen than ever to try to help raise money for the IJF which does the most fantastic job in supporting the poor guys that do suffer injuries, especially ones that affect them long term.

So please dig deep and donate now.
