Story
Thames Reach, the Passage and Barka UK are three charities working with Polish men and women sleeping rough on the streets of London. They have come together to establish a fund called the Polish National Reconnection Fund which supports destitute Poles to reconnect with family, friends and support services back in their homeland.
This fund will enable the three charities to speedily help people to make the journey home, with dignity and in safety. The fund can be used flexibly to cover the cost of temporary accommodation, travel, food, clothing and, for those who need it, detoxification from alcohol. The fund is administered by Thames Reach.
