Story
Planning Potential's London, Harrogate and Bristol offices are climbing England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike (978m) in support of Shelter From The Storm on 28th September 2019.
Shelter From The Storm was founded in Islington in 2007 by Sheila Scott and Louie Salvoni to provide shelter and support for the homeless and dispossessed from anywhere.
This year, Planning Potential helped secure planning consent for a completely free emergency night shelter, providing a bed, dinner and breakfast for 40 homeless people every night of the year. The separate community cafe offering hot drinks, snacks and occasional lunches, also provides much-needed space for people to socialise and learn new skills.
Funded by donations alone, we are seeking your help to support this fantastic charity and the homeless in London.
Thank you.
