We offer advice and support to empower people with their Mental Health.

Story

This isn’t my first rodeo and I’m sure it won’t be my last, but this one, more than most, is challenging for many reasons:

1. It’s hilly……2. I haven’t done a long run since pre-Covid……and 3. It’s in memory of a friend we lost to suicide.

I will be running, along with a group of friends, to raise money and awareness for Thurrock & Brentwood Mind.  Their mission is to provide advice & support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.  In 2020 there were 5,224 deaths registered in England & Wales where the cause was recorded as suicide.  The rate is three times higher in men than women.  Tragically, my friend Siva, became part of this statistic after he lost his battle in 2020.

Any donations are hugely appreciated and please share this link with friends and family - the more awareness the charity receives the more people they will reach.
