We're off again. Following the past
two years' rides, the good men of
Les Veloistes Gentils will once again straddle their racing bikes and strain muscle and sinew across bumpy European countryside. We're starting in Geneva on June 20th and will cover
700km over the following five days. The distance along is challenging enough, but we'll also be climbing more than 10,000m in all. Legendary climbs such as
Alpe d'Huez, the
Col du Galibier and the mighty
Mont Ventoux. It's going to be tougher than ever, but then, it's only cycling...
This year I'm raising money for
Cancer Research UK, a charity which needs little introduction. I don't know if it's age, time of life or mere circumstance, but recently cancer has found its way close to me and the family, with friends, colleagues and peers affected, adults and children alike. It seems appropriate that I raise some money for one of the world's leading charities focused on finding treatments and cures for cancer.
Anything you can spare in terms of sponsorship would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by.
