Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Fairbridge
Fundraising for Fairbridge
Fundraising for Fairbridge
I know that you all get constantly bombarded with pleas for sponsorship, so thank you for at least making it this far!
In December I will be dragging my sorry self up (and down) Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Fairbridge.
Fairbridge inspires positive change in young people, supporting them to develop the confidence, motivation and skills they need to turn their lives around. Fairbridge is located in 15 of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK, working in partnership with local communities to provide cost-effective solutions to issues such as truancy, crime and unemployment. Of the 4,000 young people Fairbridge worked with last year, 85% went onto to achieve something positive, such as gaining a qualification or getting a job.
We will be trekking for 6 days, aiming to raise a total of £3,950 each. I will of course be covering my own costs, so any money that you donate will go straight to the charity.
Donating through JustGiving is quick and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Your details will never be passed on and you won’t receive any irritating emails.
If you would like to know more about the fantastic work that Fairbridge do, please visit www.fairbridge.org.uk. Even the tiniest donation will be very gratefully received.
Thank you,
Phoebe
