Personally, I don't know of anybody suffering from breast cancer however I do know a breast cancer survivor. It's a devastating situation to be in.

Myself, I have had numerous operations on my breasts due to a third degree scald that ocurred when I was 13 months old. To me, this makes no difference as I have lived with it all my life and I am used to being scarred. It's not just the life threatning element that breast cancer can concern people with. It is also dealing with how their bodies will change. The loss of hair, the reconstruction of breast surgery and the weakness chemotherapy can bring.

The hardest part is that but these women have to be strong to help their families cope.
