Story
In 2016 my dad was taken into hospital with suspected pneumonia. Pretty soon after his admission we discovered that he wouldn't be leaving. The cancer had spread throughout his body & was too far advanced to treat. Two weeks later he passed away with all of us around him.
Little did any of us know that mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer straight after. Mum thought it was best to keep this news close to her chest to prevent any further hurt. Thankfully mums best mate forced her hand to break the news. From that moment i never left her side. I supported her to all her appointments & chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately the chemotherapy wasn't doing it's job so surgery was the best option. A few weeks after surgery mum started her radiotherapy at Aintree Clatterbridge Cance Centre. The staff made my mum feel at ease & were very compassionate. So this is part of the reason i want to give back to the staff who kept my mum alive.
On 26th February 2018 my mum offically beat cancer!!!
