Through my home care work at Carefound I have become increasingly aware of how there are many people, and their families, who are quietly struggling with living with the effects of Alzheimer's. These people often find it difficult to know who to turn to, but through experience I have found that the Alzheimer's Society can play a huge part in providing these people with anything from a listening ear to practical help in the home. Because of this I want to do my bit to make sure that they are able to support more people in the future.

Living with Alzheimer's disease, or having a loved one who has Alzheimer's must at times feel like an uphill struggle.....so the least I can do is struggle up (a) hill.....even if it is a fairly large one!!
