Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to fund raise for the charitable trust fund of the NeoNatel Unit at New Cross Hospital, which is part of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity - 1059467.

Close friends of mine Jenny and Wayne Little and their beautiful daughter Daisy-Mae and other friends of mine who have shared similar experiences are my inspiration behind running the Stafford Half Marathon - 13 Miles and The Mash March 10k Challenge back to back to raise as much as I can for my chosen charity.

Some of you may have followed Little Daisy-Mae journey through her face book page.

Daisy-Mae Little was born 25 weeks premature and weighed 858g (1lb 14oz.)

Nobody knows why these babies are born so prematurely. They are know as Micro Preemies and have to fight for their lives. Most go on to lead healthy happy and normal lives, for other little ones it can be a different and very sad story!

All monies raised will be used for additional items that are not provided for by statutory funding - this includes additional patient/parent comforts, advanced specialist pieces of equipment, research and development and other items that benefit the patients journey.

Daisy- Mae is a little super star, she is doing amazingly well just as she should be! Daisy celebrated her 1st birthday back in December.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, this is a cause close to my heart for many reasons. Philippa xxx
