Story

Hey All,

Thanks for supporting my annual charity cycle, its greatly appreciated! This year's ride will start in Brussels on Wednesday 4 June and riding 250+ miles finishing at the London Tullow office on Saturday 7 June.

As this year marks 100 years since the outbreak of WW1, the 2014 Tullow charity cycle ride is therefore looking to commemorate this fact by visiting memorials and graveyards of the Great War while in Ypres, and by raising money for Combat Stress; The Veterans mental Health Charity, which was created after the First World War. Combat Stress provides support for mentally effected service personnel:

The challenge:

Day 1 - Wednesday 4th June -  Brussels to Ypres - 80 miles

Day 2 - Thursday 5th June -  Ypres to Calais - 60 miles

Day 3 - Friday 6th June - Dover to Royal Tonbridge Wells - 55 miles

Day 4 - Saturday 7th June - Tonbridge Wells to Tullow London Office - 65 miles

The cycle ride will coincide with the annual Tullow London family day, which this year will be held in the grounds of Chiswick Park with a BBQ and fun filled attractions.

Feel free to pop down on Saturday and give us a cheer when we arrive back!

Thanks for all your support, its greatly appreciated!!

Phil
