Story
Thank you to those of you who supported Rianna's Fund 2 years ago when we cycled to Amsterdam. Your donations have helped educate many youngsters and changed their lives for the better.
Please can I ask for your generous support again? We will be cycling 300 miles in 3 days to raise money - I have paid my own expenses so everything you give will go to the charity.
This time we would like to support 3 schools in Uganda. Each school has been started by local people against the odds and Rianna’s Fund wants to provide them with good facilities to enable them to develop & flourish. Hope Hill School was started 3 years ago by the local community for 4-8-year-old children. Academic performance is good and there are now 120 children being taught in a poorly constructed building. Covenant School is near Uganda’s second town, Jinja, and was set up by a Ugandan couple to help educate children with HIV/AIDS. There are now 322 children, and last year’s top class all passed the Uganda secondary school entrance exam. Bunabololi is in a poor area on Uganda's border with Kenya. The community set up a nursery in 2013 in a mud building which has expanded to primary classes, teaching 134 children in 6 classes.
Donating through JustGiving is secure - they will not pass on your details or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity including and Gift Aid tax refund.
