Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As St John faces an unprecedented health (and financial) crisis, we need everyone to join our massive fundraising effort.

St John Ambulance has been a huge part of my life for over 50 years. In this current pandemic, the organisation is facing difficult times as with the Training Centre being closed, the events requiring first aid cover cancelled and other activities that bring in money not running, we need to look at raising any money we can to ensure the organisation can continue its work.

Therefore, I am doing a beard and hair shave with a difference. It's called "Keep It or Sheep It!" Every donation made, I would like the person to decide whether it goes in to the "Keep It" pot or the "Sheep It" pot. On the 01 August 2020, I will total up the 2 pots and the one with the most, wins. You're probably all be wondering what the 2 pots are all about? Find out below.

"Keep It"
- If this pot has the greater amount on the 01 August 2020, the beard and hair will not be cut until what should have been the Senior Race day for M G P, Friday 04 September.

"Sheep It"
- If this pot has the greater amount on the 01 August 2020, the shears will come out and the beard and hair will be cut without delay.

As you can see, I've gone in to this with a full beard, so the question is, "Do you want to see how big this beard can get?"

All I ask is that when you donate, when given the option to leave a message, be clear and say "Keep It" or "Sheep It". Any donations made without a vote will be split between the 2 pots.
