We fund care to help people through a terminal illness

Story

We did it!

Joe and Phil ran the Brighton Half Marathon (half each) and jointly came in in just under two hours (following a lightning second half from Joe).

After weeks of truly 'orrible weather the sun shone brightly and the wind stopped for a few hours to let us all enjoy the morning.

We managed to raise absolutely loads for Martlets Hospice which was what we wanted to do, so a very big thank you to everyone who supported us with good wishes and sponsorship.

Lots of love

Phil & Joe

PS: As a reminder, we decided to support Martlets because they do really excellent work looking after people in their final weeks and months.  Last year they looked after Amma Viki (Abi's mum) and I got to see their work and care first hand.  They provide free care but only get a very limited amount of public funding.  For the rest they rely on donations.

So thanks from them and me for supporting them.
