Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Like you, the big C has affected many people in my life. It is really starting to chuff me off. From my beloved Aunt Irene to the legendary (to those who knew him) Mick Butcher, who died at the start of February at the measly age of 43, cancer seems to have a talent for taking the best people. And I haven't even mentioned Karen Walsh.
Plenty of other people I know are living with various manifestations of this cruddy disease. If the thought of me running 26.2 miles in likely drizzle while being overtaken by various pantomime horses entertains you enough to donate a few quid to Macmillan, my future onset of bunions and arthritis won't have been in vain. Macmillan do great work helping people live with cancer and it would be great to support them in a small way.
