Fundraising for Barnardo's
Story
Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In July, 12th to 18th, I'm doing the Hayling Paris Charity Cycle ride of 385 miles in 5 days.......
This ride used to be to Paris, but a few years ago, due to traffic, they changed it so we actually go from Hayling Island (Portsmouth) to St Malo, and via Rennes, Saumur, to Tours. We then return through Alencon, Caen and back to Portsmouth/Hayling on the Ferry.
I want to raise as much money as possible for Barnados, I wanted something UK based and they do very good, if unglamorous, work.
I thought carefully before deciding to use JustGiving. I believe it is a very good setup, they are not making a profit but are making charitable giving very efficient - and their small percentage comes out of the gift aid claim that they make.
