Things have got a little out of hand recently, we all know that: large dams are being built in the Amazon, logging companies are destroying the homes of rainforest tribes, pygmies are pushed out of the forests and are forced to live on roadsides, palm oil plantations are moving from Indonesia to Africa, orang-utans are killed left right and centre... things aren’t looking good in tropical rainforest countries.

The good news is that we try to put a stop to all of this. And I will try to - by taking part in this year’s OM Yogathon, where attempt to salute the sun 108 times. This will take me about 2.5 hours, if I make it. I’m not going there to listen to whale sounds while stretching my muscles a bit. This is pretty hard core. The yoga will be dynamic and I have been following a training schedule so I have a chance to complete the challenge.

I will be raising funds for my beloved Rainforest Foundation. Working on the inside, I happen to know that these guys deliver excellent impact on the ground by working with those who know the rainforest best – indigenous groups and rainforest communities. Their life depends on rainforests staying standing.
