Story
Retinitis Pigmentosa is a hereditary eye disease which can leave sufferers with little or no vision. It affects many of our extended family. We are continuing to raise funds to help find a cure.
This year's challenge is a marathon; the Wainwright Coast to Coast route across northern England in late August. As with last year's Iceland trek, a number of the group have RP. We will cover over 190 miles in 10 days. The distances involved are long, and some of the terrain is challenging. Our stamina, commitment and team work will be tested to the limit. I just hope there's a good pub at the other end.
We were overwhelmed by the response and generosity for last years fundraising. We'd be delighted if you feel able to support us again this year.
Thanks for visiting this page. We'll be updating it as the fundraising and the training progress, so please stop by again soon.
Thanks
Peter and Carole
