Story
This project is so worthwhile. It will create jobs for the local community as well as providing an secondary education to many who would not otherwise recieve one.
Working in international development with architecture is something I have wanted to do since I was very young. I stumbled recently upon some drawings I had done as a child to design various different buildings at the complexity manageable for a small child's mind. For me this project is the fulfilment of a childhood dream and as an adult my Christian faith adds to my passion for this project, so you will understand my sincerity when I say that I’m extremely excited.
I visited Kenya for the second time in September to do the research for this project and it was the collaborative spirit and willingness to help that really struck me. I believe that the world as it is, is unjust, and think that it is by that kind of community spirit that we have a chance of changing things.
