Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

All funds donated will be restricted to the Help for Heroes Quick Reaction Fund to be spent on household equipment.

The route has now been plotted and the logistics planned. It will take two days; so the 'Commandos' will set off from Canterbury bright and early on Thursday 25 June for a 30 mile hike to Higham in North West Kent, where they’ll be billeted for the night.

Then on Friday 26 June, the platoon will finish off with a 15 mile ‘home straight’ to Moat’s central office in Dartford. It’ll be a tough challenge, but our Commandos have been training hard and we’re super-confident that they’ll accomplish their mission.

As an ex member of the British Army, this is a cause which is close to my heart and that I would like to support.

All the funds raised will be donated to a specific Help for Heroes project which is centred in the heart of where we work in South East England. We’re aiming to raise £10,000, so we need all the help we can get. Any amount will make a huge difference – so thank you in advance for your support.
