Last year I was fortunate enough to meet the founders of Help for Heroes, Bryn and Emma, their incredible team, and more importantly some of the service men and women being helped by this extraordinary charity. 

Having felt compelled to do something to help, I will be joining a team of  20 riders from Debenhams riding 350 miles through the battlefields of northern France, completing the Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2016 - The Western Front. In 5 days we will cycle from Ypres to Verdun.

The battles of World War 1 may have ended nearly 100 years ago, but the battles faced by our Service personnel continue. We will be riding alongside wounded, injured and sick heroes and meeting first hand some of those that benefit from the amazing fundraising that rides such as these achieve.

Any contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated (and will in no small way keep me really focussed on those training rides!)
