Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please take a look at the supporting photo's of Pauline.

My partner, Pauline, has Posterior Cortical Atrophy which is a rare form of Alzheimer's, a spatial awareness condition. She can now no longer do anything for herself, and I mean anything, walk, talk, feed herself, you name it she cannot do it. She understands certain things that are said to her, but I am afraid that is all she can do, which is not very often, because she just cannot communicate back. It is like being in a state of non existence when you yourself know that you are here, but can do nothing at all about the situation, only to get anxious and upset when someone tries to help you.

I am hoping to raise substantial sums to fund further research. Little is known about this progressive and debilitating disease.

Although I can change my hair colour, nothing can be done to arrest Alzheimer's and PCA. One day we will change this.

Due to public response the colour will be half Pink and half Natural youthful Brown/Black.
