Percy’s Pals is a fund raising group formed by friends of Dr Richard Percival, who died in February 2013 aged 47 years from a stroke at The Wessex Neurological Intensive Treatment Unit at Southampton General Hospital. The unit treats victims of stroke and brain injury from all over the south of England. To allow faster diagnosis of emergency cases the aim is to raise £250 000 to buy a portable CT scanner.
