Story

Just over 7 weeks ago, my son Michael was born 10 weeks premature.  Michael weighed 810 grams and dropped down to 700 grams (1 lbs 8 oz). Without the great work and equipment at Gloucester Royal Hospital's Neonatal ward Michael would not be here today.  Michael is now 1.87 kg (4 lbs 1 oz) in weight and in a few weeks will be coming home.  I want to raise money for the Neonatal unit to help them keep doing the amazing work they do.  The equipment they use is very expensive and is in constant use.  Any money you would like to donate will go straight to Gloucester Royal Hospital Neonatal ward's charity 'Scoo-B-Doo'.  For more information on the great work carried out on this ward and how the money is spent, please see the following link:

Please donate what you can to this worthwhile cause.  Please also have a look at my friends just giving page who is also doing the cycle ride for the Ian Edwards Cancer Break Trust:

About the charity

Scoo-B-Doo works alongside Gloucester Royal Special Care Baby Unit to buy the best and most advanced equipment available to help save babies in need of special care. Through it's fundraising efforts for advanced equipment for example - ventilators, incubators and monitors, Scoo-B-Doo helps to give its tiny patients the best possible chance of life.
