I am planning to cycle the coast-to-coast (C2C) ride starting on Saturday 30 April.  This is a classic ride which involves crossing both the Lake District and the Pennines i.e. it's hilly.  With my colleague Simon Page, we aim to raise some sponsorship money for diabetes research through DiabetesUK.  All contributions gratefully received!
