My Mum Gill Lowry passed away from cancer on the 23rd July 2012 after 6 months of the emotional hurry up and wait roller coaster cancer ride. The highs and lows are indescribable and the passing of my mum was heartbreaking. I am undertaking this triathlon as part of a three person team, which includes my wife and my sister to raise funds for Hospiscare Devon. The palliative care and support which my mum, our family and friends received from Hospiscare was quite simply amazing. To know that everyone at the Hospice cared made so much difference to us all. There are in excess of 150,000 people who die from cancer in the UK every year. Please help Hospiscare make the difference to people who need it. Thanks very much.
