I am the oldest competito in Ironman Wales - the 75yr+ section. Apart from having the opportunity to raise money for an excellent cause I genuinely want older persons to realise that by being active and keeping fit it can enable them to enjoy a quality of life for many, many more years they ever thought possible. Then, of course, there is the matter of attempting to satisfying my ego.........!!!!!!!
