Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2013 I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood plasma cancer, and since then have undergone extensive treatment including chemotherapy and stem cell transplant. I have received tremendous support from various sources: St George's Hospital, Tooting haematology unit, friends and family, and Myeloma UK to the extent that I am now able to run again. Last year I completed the Wokingham Half Marathon and this year I am tackling the Midsummer Munro over and around Box Hill in Surrey to see if I can still do it! I have again selected Myeloma UK as the charity to receive any funds I raise. This is out of deep gratitude to all the individuals and institutions from whom I have received such wonderful support and encouragement.
