We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

In June 2013 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour, removed by surgery 3 weeks later. After radiotherapy my life expectancy was put at one to two years.

Thanks to the skill of my doctors I have survived my first year but the cancer has now spread and I have had to abandon work for my university, and other universities around the world.

Many longstanding projects with The Franco-British Lawyers' Society, Paris and Bordeaux universities and Human Rights defenders in Colombia and others have had to be curtailed.

Support for The Brain Tumour Charity helps researchers to develop new weapons in the fight against cancer and keep sufferers alive for longer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
