Brothers Nick, Chris and Jan Diprose are riding around and across the Isle of Wight on May 10th, 11th and 12th 2013 and on August 4 are also riding the London-Surrey 100 miler (the Olympic Road Race route) in memory of their much-missed brother Pete who died in 2010 aged only 46. Pete was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes at the age of 40. Unfortunately it was an illness that led to his unexpected death in 2010 at a shockingly young age. 

Pete would have loved to have joined us on our ride because he was a sports fanatic, spending what time he wasn't travelling, playing squash, tennis or watching Harlequins Rugby Club - where he was a keen season ticket holder and former captain and fly-half.

In memory of Pete and to raise awareness of diabetes we will be riding around the Isle of Wight, across it and up a few of its ‘peaks’. We’re particularly looking forward to the St Boniface Down ‘stage’ above Ventnor…and a few of the Island’s pubs!
