Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In September this year I will be running the CCC (http://utmbmontblanc.com/en/page/21/ccc®.html)- a 101km trail race starting in Courmayeur, Italy and finishing in Chamonix, France. 

This is the furthest I've run and should see me cover over 1000 miles in training during the months leading up to the event.

As well as the physical and mental challenge for myself it would be great to raise some money for the Stars Appeal- a fantastic local charity.

I won't try to articulate in a small paragraph the impact the Stars Appeal has on those receiving treatment at the Hospital. Suffice to say the charity's work makes a tangible difference to the treatment people receive and given the care so many of my friends and family have experinced it holds a special place in my heart.

Just like my race I'm breaking my fundraising down into a manageable figure- I'm only looking for £10 per kilometre I'll be running!
