Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·
In April 2010 I will be running/walking/shuffling and potentially crawling the London marathon for the charity Mental Health Foundation (and I do realise that I'm being lazy now by using last years pleading email). The Mental Health Foundation does an amazing job for people with mental health issues and learning disabilities by providing pioneering research and community projects for the above mentioned very cool, sometimes misunderstood, group in society. Mental health can be a difficult issue for families and individuals and I'm sure we all know someone that has been affected by these circumstances. It was hugely uplifting to work with a similar group of people teaching them to horse ride when I was living in tokyo and I know that these small donations make such a difference to the quality of life and access to help that these people need (and appreciate). So please take the time to make a difference to some ones life - and I'll make the time to run 26 miles (and keep you updated with a somewhat entertaining occasional running stories). Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mental Health Foundation gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
