I am proud to announce that Llinos Walker and myself will be walking the 3 peaks on 20th May 2022 this year for Gutscharity.

And Steve Hesbrook AKA Brother in law will be cycling from his home near Newort Shropshire to Llangollen around 45 miles on the 9th July 2022.

The aim of the 3 peaks challenge is to climb  the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales  in 24 hours.  The total distance is 23 miles and ascent 3064 meters.  Ben Nevis is the highest at 1344m.

This charity has given me the positivity to move forward in life, to channel negativity into some thing that can make a huge difference.  Hopefully educating others about hidden cancers and not been afraid to seek help.

Sadly it was too late for My Geoffrey, Acid reflux for year was a sure sign that there was something wrong. 

He started to show signs of not been well in August 2020.  We pushed for a diagnosis but the pressure of Covid slowed things down.  Finally in December 2020 he went in for a routing procedure to make things easier for him until he was to start chemotherapy, but due to the severity of the cancer it caused  his body to react in a way that he wasn't strong enough to fight and he passed away 4 days later.

Had I have know about gutsuk a long time before any of this, then with their support an earlier diagnosis the outcome could have been brighter.

 If I can get this out there and help 1 in a million I'll be happy .
