We fund a network of expert research nurses to help save blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Walking 40km in Yorkshire, going over the 3 peaks is going to be probably cold, surely wet but above all.... painful!!. My legs will hurt, my feet will hurt, my blisters will hurt (I can guarantee based on the 27km test I did).

My reason #1:  I do it for Lizzie Dean, a friend whose fight with Leukaemia has been hurting her more and for longer.

I need 39 more reasons to cover the other 39km in the route. So PLEASE ACT, offer me a reason to do it and a donation with it!

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
