Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Last year we completed our first cycling challenge and rode back to Gloucester after taking part in the London Nightrider in aid of Child Bereavement UK. It was a fantastic experience and we were kindly supported in achieving our goal by many family and friends.
One of our keenest supporters was Rich's Nan who sadly passed away shortly after waving us home, having suffered heart failure a few months before we set off. Nancy was so proud of our achievement, it felt fitting to challenge ourselves again this year in her memory.
We knew from last year we could do 200 miles in 48 hours and after much deliberation, we agreed to attempt 750 miles over 10 days - why not?!
We are extremely fortunate to have Rich's dad, Mike, and uncles, Chris and Pete, providing valuable support along the way and hope it will be an adventure we will all enjoy together and remember for years to come.
So, on the 27th June 2015 we will begin our 750 mile bikeathon from Gloucester to the Scottish Highlands, passing Nancy's birth place and former family home near Stoke on Trent and the homes of her three sons in Gloucester, Blackpool and Scourie en route.
