Launching on the 5th of July 2022, British high street family fashion retailer Peacocks will commence a new partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. The business aims to raise £150,000 (75 wishes) for the charity which grants life changing wishes for children living with a critical condition between the ages of 3 and 17 years old inclusive.
Over the next year, a percentage of sales across a series of key products will be donated to the charity. There will also be a series of Peacocks and Make-A-Wish UK fundraising events, which will take place both in-store and within Peacocks’ Cardiff headquarters and distribution centers.
Make-A-Wish UK is a non-profit foundation that does not receive governmental support. It estimates that to grant the wish of each critically ill child can cost around £2,000. It relies on organisations such as Peacocks as well as individuals and communities coming together to raise its much needed funds. Each offer of support is a chance to create a life-changing wish for these children, inspiring magical memories that last a lifetime not just them but for the families and loved ones around them.
