Our family lives with the effects of dementia every day. Emma’s mum continues to live with dementia and the impact of the disease is felt by her and her loving family everyday. Kath’s grandparents also lived with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia which has left a lasting impact on her family. Awareness, care and support has to improve and be able to be accessed when it’s needed, not when crisis hits. We feel passionately about doing whatever we can to support this to happen.
