WE DID IT! 

 

A lovely warm moonlit night, about two thousand five hundred ladies, ten miles to walk & we did it in three hours fifteen minutes non-stop (except for a short “comfort break”)  

WOW!!!

 It looks as thought I’m going to reach my target too. Brilliant!

You know how it is don't you? Every year I say to myself  " I'll definitely do the Dougie Mac walk next year "

Well at long last ......... this is the year.

 

On Friday the 25th June I will be taking part in the Midnight to Sunrise walk in aid of the Doulas Macmillan Hospice. This is a 10 mile sponsored walk for ladies, starting at the Britannia Stadium and passing through Longton, Fenton, Joiners Square and Heron Cross. Davina will be walking too, so at least we can have a good natter as we walk.

 

As most of you will know the hospice serves the North Staffordshire area and relies largely on donations. Our family, like many other families in the area, have been very grateful for the excellent care and support provided by the Dougie Mac and this is a brilliant opportunity to make a contribution.
