Fundraising for Leeds Cancer Centre Charity
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will run, no I will probably run a little and mostly walk, the 10k Run for All at Leeds on 4 July in memory of my father-in-law Brian who passed away last October and who’s birthday it would have been on the race day. He would have loved the occasion and would have had some very wise and loud words to encourage (and embarrass) me. Those who knew him miss him and think of him with love. I have decided to enter the race to raise money for the Leeds Cancer Centre a very special place which deserves all the support that can be given. The centre firstly at Cookridge and then at St James has helped my husband Roger survive a life threatening cancer and supported us both through his 10 fantastic and unexpected years of remission. Thanks to Mr Sue-Ling and his team, Roger has beaten the odds, a fact that is testament to the professionalism and dedication of the wonderful work in this special place. Please support me by giving as much as you are able. I will also be running (and walking) on the Pontefract Race for life on the 13 June. Thank you for supporting me Pauline x
