I am honoured to be given the opportunity to work with Tearfund on a volunteer placement in Rwanda, Kigali this coming January. I will be part of a team, working towards a range of community transformation and socio-economic development projects to address poverty.

Tearfund is part of International Citizen Service (ICS). It is
an international aid and development organisation that works towards ending poverty and rebuilding poor communities worldwide. For more information on Tearfund, please visit  http://www.tearfund.org/.

The entire placement is funded by Tearfund-ICS. My fundraising target is £800, the money raised is to ensure that more people in the UK and abroad have the opportunity to volunteer on projects that help towards fighting poverty.
