Why raise money for South West Thames Kidney Fund? Well, my husband has adult polycystic kidney disease, which means our children have a 1 in 2 chance of having it as well. I know that the research that the Kidney Fund supports won’t help prevent the progression of my husband’s kidney disease, but perhaps it will help to improve the prospects for my children.
