UPDATE: I AM DOING THE ABSEIL AGAIN ON 25 SEPTEMBER, THEREFORE, MY PAGE WILL STAY OPEN FOR DONATIONS
Sign up to do the UK's highest freefall abseil they said... It'll be great fun they said! So, here I am, I signed up and I'm just hoping it's as much fun as they said!
I'm Pauline, 68 years young and willing to terrify myself in order to raise funds so the Volunteers of Swale Cats Protection can continue the fantastic work they do for the local cat and kitten population. It's a charity close to my heart and one I volunteer for myself as Neutering Officer.
The freefall abseil I will be taking on is from the huge 80 metre high (262 feet) ArcelorMittal Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 3 September 22. Standing on the edge of any platform scares me, so this will be a massive challenge.
By donating any amount, however small, it will give me the support and encouragement to stand on that platform and complete the abseil. Your donation is desperately needed to help pay for Vet bills, food and equipment for the cats.
Thank you for the support.
