I actually did it! THE LONDON MARATHON!

I've threatened it for years. I'd applied and failed a fair few times, but not been that bothered really.

Last October, I didn't get a place in the ballot YET AGAIN - and I was gutted.

So I hunted around and found myself a fantastic charity - PHAB KIDS and they very kindly offered me one of their Golden Bond places.

The big day was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed it so much. Even the horrible bit near the end had it's highlights (seeing my family at mile 23 gave me such an incredible lift!). I managed to finish in a time of 3 hours 39 minutes and 56 seconds, which I'm very pleased with.

Please donate as much as you can. Phab Kids make so many people's lives better by helping them to get out and take part in activities they might not normally get the chance to. This "big kid" is one they've helped already!
