Miles for Smiles - Dan Everitt & David Woolnough at MSC, 2 October 2020
We provide free safe reconstructive surgery to children born with cleft lips & palates.

Story

Operation Smile is an International medical charity, founded in 1982.

They work to provide free surgeries to children and young adults born with a cleft lip or a cleft palate all over the world.

MSC UK set up a partnership with Operation Smile and have been supporting this charity for the last 2 years. This year to support the amazing work they do, at a time when charities need our support more than ever, Dan Everitt - Managing Director and David Woolnough - Finance Director are both taking part in a Miles 4 Smiles challenge throughout October.

‘By supporting Miles for Smiles, we can help families. Dest and Rosoa travelled 150 miles through rough terrain and rivers to reach our mission in Madagascar so their daughters could receive the life changing surgery they desperately needed. This is a common story.’

Starting on 1 October 2020, over the course of a month, Dan and David will be challenging themselves to complete a combined total distance of 600 miles through a combination of walking, running and cycling.

With just a small sponsorship you can help David and Dan cover the miles and help put smiles back into these families lives forever.
