Story
This March I’ll be running the Hampton Court Half Marathon for a charity that is very close to my heart, My Life Films.
My Life Films makes free biographical films for people living with dementia. This amazing organisation celebrates the life of the patient, defining them by their memories and not by their illness. It also benefits their loved ones by reminding them of the person their sibling, friend, parent or grandparent once were.
Although sadly there is no cure for dementia, My Life Films is doing everything it can to improve the quality of life of the people living with dementia, reducing isolation and bringing families together by giving them a lasting memory of their loved one.
I’m so unbelievably proud of my parents for having set up this wonderful charity and for everything it’s achieved in the past few years, and so naturally I thought what better way to show them that than by running 21k around a park!
So please please donate to make a difference, big or small, it’ll all be so appreciated!!! Merciiii xxx
