Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Each year I set myself a new challenge which I hope through my commitment, training and at times pain will enable other people to have a better life. Last year was a ride from San Francisco to LA (550 miles in 7 days), this year is the Wimbleball 70.3 one of the most difficult half ironman's one can undertake. For those of you who are unaware, a half iron man consists of a 1.9k swim followed by a 90k bike and finished off with a half marathon :-). In preparation, I am training hard and two weeks before the event will also take part in the Windsor Tri - Olympic distance.
Why am I doing this? to raise money for a charity which has inspired me called Universal Chance. After meeting one of the trustees who is a client of ours, we got chatting about what they are trying to do with the funds they raise, I was keen to get involved and help improve the lives of those less fortunate than we are. Projects to date have helped rebuild both medical and educational facilities in Uganda enabling children to live and be educated in a cleaner more functional environment. Something which we take for granted here in the UK.
I appreciate any support you can give x
