I am really happy to have finally got my much coveted place in the London Marathon, 7th time lucky through the ballot!! This is my third marathon, and my third time running in support of MacMillan. This year's training has been especially challenging, juggling the competing demands of kids, work and training with the added complication of my husband at sea.

MacMillan is a charity very close to my heart. A number of my family and friends have fought cancer, some unfortunately have lost the battle whilst others fight on. MacMillan provide an invaluable service to sufferers and their families and I am really proud to be representing them again.
